Vergleich von normalen Hiatts Handschellen mit der C-Variante mit verstärktem Bogen. Ziel der Verstärkung ist anscheinend, daß man die Handschelle nicht mehr mit einem Schraubenzieher aufhebeln kann. Als ob das so einfach bei den normalen Modellen ginge. Aber immerhin schien es so wichtig zu sein, daß man bei dieser Option auf das Durchschwingen verzichtete. Comparison of normal Hiatts handcuffs with the strengthened C variation. Apparently the strengthening piece was to further harden the cuffs against attempts with a screwdriver to lever the parallel parts apart. Not easily achieved even on normal handcuffs, but apparently sometimes it must have been deemed necessary and was reasy to pay the price of forfeiting the swingthrough ability.
